THE ART OF ACTION

Here we share our experience in activating organizations and their strategies, our learnings, the ideas and insights of our thought leaders and simply the joy that we have in our work and the results of our projects.

GETTING THE BIG PICTURE RIGHT

In the video podcast "Hope is not a strategy" by Christian Underwood, we had the opportunity to explain why strategy is, at best, the exciting story that a company tells about its own future and how the Big Picture method can ensure that everyone in the company knows this story and is happy to tell it in just four weeks. You can find the complete video podcast in the link below.

START TINY

Sometimes it can be quite simple. Everyone in your organization knows and understands the strategy after just 4 weeks with the help of the Big Picture method.

And immediately afterwards, the teams in all departments start working on implementing the strategy in less than 1% of working time. We presented how this works at the Strategy Summit 2024 in Düsseldorf. You can download a summary of our presentation here!

A GREAT BOOK ON STRATEGY

Today we are particularly pleased about the review of "Das große Buch der Strategie" in Management Journal.

Here is a short excerpt of the review, you can find the entire article in the link: "Storytelling of a special kind. This book is simply different - different in a positive sense. (...) Behind every great strategy are people who want to lead their organization into a better future with a wealth of ideas, attitude, conviction and all their energy." (Management Journal 2024)

High Performing Teams

What makes people in teams achieve outstanding results together?

Many people are interested in the answer to this question - especially in economically challenging times. After all, teams are the fundamental unit of most companies. They bring together the skills, experience and knowledge of all team members. Teams can function more or less well - depending on the social dynamics within them.

With the Social Dynamics Survey, the TATIN Institute surveys central social dynamics on a team-cultural and organizational level. The survey is based on already validated and proven instruments for recording eight constructs: psychological safety, ownership, impact, clarity, identification with the company, understanding of a shared corporate vision, empowerment in one's own area of work and the perceived success of cross-divisional collaboration.

MEET THE TINYS

Coming soon

We are currently dedicating an entire book to the heart of our work: our Tinys. Find out more about where they come from. How they support leaders and their teams worldwide.

Tinys help teams to keep an overview and focus in times of transformation and strategy change. They promote a high performance culture precisely by keeping psychological safety, appreciation and diversity in mind.

And because they are so beautifully tiny and digital, they fit into every meeting. In less than 1% of working time, they change behavior and thus create a forward-looking and dynamic culture of collaboration. That's why we love them, just like our clients around the world.

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION

In this episode of the podcast series "Hope is not a strategy", Christian Underwood, host of the podcast and renowned strategy expert and author, takes the audience on a trip to Munich and gives deep insights into the art of strategy activation.

The guest is - guess what - Robert Wreschniok our CEO. He reveals the secrets of successful strategy implementation. Why do strategies fail so often? The answer is often to be found in the complex social dynamics within organizations. The mere existence of a strategy does not guarantee success. Robert emphasizes that the real work begins once the strategy is in place. Enjoy listening!

THE GREAT BOOK OF STRATEGY

„DAS GROSSE BUCH DER STRATEGIE"
FROM REFORMATION TO DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

„Das große Buch der Strategie" written by our CEO Robert Wreschniok is based on a simple idea. Strategies and the transformations that evolve from them are nothing more and nothing less than the exciting story that an organization tells about its own future. And this story can be drawn. This is how a strategy becomes what millions of employees in all companies are constantly asking when it comes to strategy: "Show me the big picture.“

„Das große buch der Strategie" not only takes this longing seriously, but also literally, and uses selected examples from Luther's Reformation to digital transformation to show how even the largest and most complex strategies can be visualized as a big picture, and how this unusual approach has succeeded in taking millions of people on a journey to a desirable future.

IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO CARE...
PROVIDE THEM WITH CONTEXT

Just a view months ago since the first sketch was drafted of the “AMOS Digital Olympics”. Now, we have a detail-rich picture, showing people at their desks and in meeting rooms, consulting the intranet, and generally doing interesting things at various locations.

THE STRATEGY ACTIVATION CANVAS

After the great success of the Strategy Activation Playbook, we published the Strategy Activation Canvas together with Roudlege Verlag. The book has been in stores in the English, American, Australian and New Zealand markets since Q4 2023. We are absolutely overwhelmed by the feedback from all over the world. In addition to the practical examples for effectively activating strategy and transformation, highlights in the Strategy Activation Canvas include working with Tiny Interventions: small but effective actions that are digitally integrated into everyday working life to bring about big changes. They enable managers and their teams to implement new behavior directly, without the need for additional meetings or organizational preparations. Further information can be found in the book or, of course, directly from us.

PLAYBOOK STRATEGY ACTIVATION

The way corporate strategies are developed and managed is fundamentally changing. The "Playbook Strategy Activation" starts where classic strategy publications end: At the implementation of strategies. The approach in this book shows how to "activate" entire organizations, i.e., not only to involve them in seeing and experiencing a strategy, but to make them an active part of it. The book incorporates many examples from well-known national and international companies.
